FAQ
What do I need to bring/wear for my experience?
Scout will provide you with all specific equipment needed for each experience, but here are some of the basics we recommend bringing with you:
Sun protection including sunglasses, hat and chapstick. We provide sunscreen. (Needed in the winter, too!)
Phone: We provide charging cables for various devices for in-vehicle access.
Camera
Proper footwear: Closed toe tennis shoes with good tread will be sufficient for most of our activities. Hiking boots/shoes are recommended for hiking activities.
Warm waterproof layer: Layers are generally a good idea as weather and temperatures can change quickly in Colorado. Especially recommended for experiences that take place at higher elevation.
Any medications
A backpack or purse (optional)
How many guests can Scout experiences accommodate?
Our premium SUV can seat up to 6 guests. We recommend no more than 5 adult guests to ensure a comfortable experience. The middle seat in the 3rd row is most suitable for children.
What are the substitutions listed under each experience?
All of our experiences are customizable. We provide these recommendations to help you create the exact experience you are in search of. Please let us know if you are interested in an itinerary substitution in advance
Do you provide snacks during the experiences?
Yes, we provide an assortment of snacks for all our experiences to ensure our guests are fueled up for their adventure. Snack options include beef jerky, fresh fruit, granola/fig bars, trail mix and fruit snacks. Please make us aware of any allergies so that we may accommodate.
